When a Small Order Taught Me a Big Lesson About Specifying Commercial Lighting

It was a Tuesday morning, and I was staring at a pile of returned fixtures on my warehouse floor. Not a huge pile—maybe 15 units out of a 200-unit order. But for a small renovation job at a local dentist's office, 15 returns meant a blown budget and a very unhappy contractor on the phone.

The contractor, Mike, had been referred to me by a mutual contact.
